International Stars held their fall drive on Sunday October 22, 2023. Over 20 members took part in the fall drive through the Motor City. The club met up at Rivard Park on the Detroit Riverfront, just east of the Renaissance Center (GM Headquarters) and drove up the riverfront to Belle Isle Park, stopping at the world famous marble James Scott Memorial Fountain on Belle Isle and took advantage of a photo shoot with club members and their cars. The drive continued on and took a leisurely drive around Belle Isle then headed up Jefferson Avenue, making a slight detour to view the Manoogian Mansion (Detroit Mayor’s residence) on the riverfront. The fall drive continued up Jefferson to Lake Shore Drive in Grosse Pointe, taking in the mansions and beautiful Lake St Clair. The club ended up at the Eleanor and Edsel Ford Mansion estate and grounds on Lake St Clair where the members had lunch in the Continental restaurant and toured the Ford family estate and grounds. Everyone had a great day!
