June Membership Lunch North Texas Section Saturday, June 4, 2022
Thirty-one of our members attended our membership lunch at Spring Creek Barbeque in McKinney, Texas on June 4th. Membership Lunches are a great way to meet other MBCA members in a fun environment and it is a low key and easy way to meet other club members and get up to date on section activities. The topic for this lunch was on Star Preservation and judging criteria at car shows. The Star Preservation program has become an important part of our focus on preserving vintage cars and our guest speakers at the lunch were Gene Jurick, Past National President and Jerry Chenault currently North Texas Section Vice President. They covered the outline of the criteria for Star Preservation and what to expect for Judging at car shows. After the presentation, they went over two beautiful Mercedes belonging to the Hudspeth family that were judged and certified for Star Certification.
